Heya, a lot of you from around here probably remember the Pixels! role-playing fad from a few months back that started with
Pixel Survival, succeeded by
Pixels: The Game! and then
Adventures of Hope if wasn't long before a bunch of similar RP's got started including
Rise of Hyperion,
Pixelic Engines and
Pixels RtD, realizing we were on to something me and Greg (Ehndras) built
pixelsgame.org which aims to be both a haven for role-players and an environment for collaborating on creative content like DeviantArt or Newgrounds. We're interested in expanding into getting artist's work out there too, there are plans in place for creating a digital magazine, we're currently making websites for other artists such as the dubstep musician
Suck My Snake Bites and are also looking into publishing novels.
At this point we feel we are ready to do a pre-release and make an official announcement with 7 on-site projects (Rise of Hyperion and Anarchy Unlimited will be showing up hopefully on Monday for a total of 9) there's plenty to do there, so check it out and if you like what you see join the site, participate in projects and if your brave enough start your own, it'll be awesome to have you guys on board. P.S: Sorry about the blatant advertising but really any contribution you've got would mean a massive amount, site activity is slightly iffy at the moment as one of our lead GM's... quit the internet, Greg is absent until Monday and we've had a bit of downtime recently, so this pre-release is also partially to bring us back to where we were a couple of weeks ago, again thank you all for making Pixels! possible in the first place!
