Odd sparring
« on: April 24, 2012, 02:59:43 am »

Up until today, I thought sparring was exclusively a 1 vs 1 engagement.

But I just noticed: I have 5 military dwarves, one squad of 3 and a squad of 2 dwarves. They were all sparring. This means, sparring is not restricted to pairs, and odd sparring may occur.

yes

I noticed the same already too, but it doesn't happen verry often. When 5 are sparring it's usually 1 group of 3 and one of 2 though

Or the champion just sitting in the corner sharpening his axe when the 4 new recruits think he's just some noob and try to pick on him..

You wouldn't want to be the champion in my fortress, I send them out to have 1v1 battles against Ettins, Minotaurs and some Titans and the like. Isn't that what champion means?=P

Yep, it's known. Was scienced up in one of the general military threads a while back.

(Science is a verb now, because science).
