One of my dwarves made a adamantine hatch cover studded with adamantine, what should I use it for?

Center hatch in a bridge over a lava tube.  Make the crafter stand on it and drop him in as punishment for wasting so much candy.

Or just stick it in a meeting hall and watch all the drooling dwarves crowd around it. Oh, and put it over a pit for dropping the most illustrious of your foes. Let them watch.
