I've grown to loath Starbucks Via, but not because I've tried it and think the product sucks, but because I keep seeing the same ad. Over and over, the same fucking ad, over and over, the same fucking ad, over and over the same fucking ad.

Fuck! And I dont even know what Starbucks Via is, other then the fact it's made the same way as other Starbucks Coffee so it taste the same.

ITs a terrible ad, I dont understand the product they're selling me. Over and over, Via and Via. GAH.

I dont mind internet ads, in fact I make a habit of clicking through ads for youtubes or blip shows that I really enjoy.

But the overall lack of varity of ads is what really gets me. There only seem to be maybe one or two ads playing on blip, or hulu, or youtube a day. And if you just go on a heavy youtube day, or you've replaced cable/satellite with Hulu+Netflix, then these repetition in ads, is just tiring, and numbs you to them.

And as unpopular as this opinion is going to be, I want more fucking ads. Just so, I'm not forced with the same ad over and over and over and over and over and over over over over over over over over again.

Someone somewhere thinks paying for that much ad time is going to make their money back in sales, that is the weird thing.
Unless I am missing some nuance of how advertising works.

If you go for Hulu's subscription doesn't that give you the option of turning the ads off?

Nope. Hulu is much closer to a cable subscription, done entirely through Video on Demand.

But yes, I especially hate the perfect shitstorms of advertising that always seem to show up around release dates for second rate films and games.
