Slave Arrows
« on: April 06, 2012, 03:36:43 pm »

I'm starting to figure out how to mod in DF and i've got a project that i'm not sure how to implement: arrows that make elves (or any race) your slaves.

So far i've got 2 ideas. One is making a material that will melt at body temperature and carry a syndrome causing a transform that turns the victim into a tamable creature. The other is making an on-contact reaction that does the same thing.

Any ideas?

==OldGenesis mod== by Deon & TomiTapio. Five wood classes, four leather classes. Nine enemy civs. So much fine-tuning.

Not really possible unless you add a special caste to dwarves.

I'm not sure.  Creatures tend to hold their old civilization tags, so you might end up with domestic creatures that are still part of the elf civ and thus cause weirdness as they technically belong to both civilizations.

My experiments with tame elves gave conflicting and utterly useless results.
