Short Question:

In an Evil, terrifying Biome, does dead bodies become undead?

yesterday i was in an Haunted biome, everything, even the hands became a zombie, but here in the terrifying biome its only rains blood 24/7 but no zombies.

Evil biomes might be undead biomes. It's apparently unrelated to their actual savagery, though it's possible that some are more Evil than others and that more Evil areas are more likely to have corpse creatures. If undead wander in off the map edge of a biome, the dead will eventually rise again. Otherwise, they won't.

Evil = Evil.

Sinister, Haunted and Terrifying biomes are all evil, all with equal chances of having a random amount of interactions, which can include dead bodies becoming undead. The difference is in savagery, more savagery, bigger and nastier beasts might show up in your fort.

yeah i got about 3 sieges and 2 beasts yet, but not a single zombie.

Could be a necromancer. If every one stood up at once, that's definitely a necromancer. Undead-biome reanimation happens a time after the creature died, so unless everything died simultaneously they won't resurrect simultaneously.
