A dwarf in a fell mood can murder ghosts.  I can't wait to see if he makes something out of ghostly dwarf leather.  Also of interest, will be seeing if the murered ghost returns, or- better yet- produces a dwarven ghost ghost.

I knew that a dwarf in a fell mood was a terrifying vision of beard and rage, but I had no idea that they were capable of rending the dead.

So you're short, but are you brutish and mean?

If the ghost stays dead-dead then it has, at the very least, practical applications.

There was no second murder.

There are plenty of corpses available, because I've been having issues, with necromancers and haven't managed to inter all the products of conflict (just safely stockpiled them under a mountain).  Maybe he grabbed one of the corpses laying around the butcher's shop he'd claimed, which happened to be right between the refuse stockpile and graveyard stockpile.

Also, small inaccuracy in the first post:  not dwarves, but humans.  This is a human fortress.
