What is a dent? Like, a wound. Is it an open wound or just an injury?

Oh. :/ Why is my militia commander faint? He had a head wound that was torn open, but it healed to a dent. this is a new fort, so no hospital yet. But he wasn't faint until after it became a dent.

Probably an undiagnosed infection or internal injury. Dents are somewhat like scars; places where the body has healed, but not quite right, leaving a little hollow where the wound once was.

I imagine it as a scar but instead of being raised , it's hollow, a little tissue missing instead of added by scarification, what you would get if bitten...

Dunno if it's better or worse than bruising (I suspect worse) but its something that will definitely heal up without permanent damage.
