Stop an ingame macro

Using the ingame macro, I set something to repeat 50 times using ctrl u then ctrl p, but it messed up now and is doing stuff I don't want it to.

Is there a way to stop a repeating/in progress macro?

move your mouse off the game screen. I sometimes set a macro then decide to check my mail or something, come back and find that the macro stopped the moment I left the game to its own. Now I just grab a book.
