Certain Megabeasts Dying?
« on: March 15, 2012, 06:33:12 pm »

I was going through my legends mode and saw some odd things. Almost all of the above ground megabeasts (Dragons, Rocs, Titans) were dead, save for a single female Dragon, but every forgotten beast is alive and kicking. Is there a reason for this?

How long's your world generation? Something probably killed them...?

Forgotten beasts generally do not do anything during worldgen.

Whereas megabeast assault towns and get their asses handed to them. Or they get a crippling injury that will spell their doom later on in life.

Forgotten beasts hang out underground doing nothing, dragons and stuff attack towns and get killed. However, dragons also reproduce, so they have a chance of lasting long periods of history.

I think this is a problem too.
If i generate a world with 250 years of history and set the amount of large beats to 'very high', they're all dead after 125 years.

In fact, i just started a little thread on this earlier this night, suggesting they're given Contractual Boss Immunity.
