Put food in bag!

Put food in bag stupid dragon!

I am forced to run around and bash things to death with ostrich meat [19] because apparently my backpack and bag are both not "suitable" containers for it.  I am not sure exactly why this is.  What sort of container does meat go in?

Drop that meat, and pick it back up again. That's how you get it in your backpack.

Backpacks are bugged: while using the [p]ut command can't get much in there, you can get an infinite amount by picking an object off the ground with both your hands filled. Bags can't do that.

Hmm, I was just about to ask the same thing. I bought some meat and somehow it ended up in my quivers. And when I wanted to refill my waterskins they were full of coins. Moving the coins into bags was no problem, but as for the meat I had to drop it and pick it up again. Quite confusing...

Drop item into ground, then pick it. If there's no place in your hands, it goes to backpack.

The largest stack size a bag is supposed to hold is 10.  That's why the ostrich meat isn't fitting inside it.

Don't know how those peasants in the towns are cramming stacks of nearly 100 strawberries in their feed bags tho...

That is an insane and dangerous plan.  I approve wholeheartedly.
