Infinitely moist dead birds are emergency rations only. Most of the time you can simply lick your own eyelids and ears clean.

Go close and use your melee skills on the enemy (No other way). When Stealthed, your speed is slowed, a prone enemy is very much less likely to be hit by a ranged opponent. This also goes for stealthed adventurers, the hit rate is lower when stealthed against prone opponents.

However, your skill in that weapon would greatly help in hitting the target (Archery also helps). The distance from you and your target would also affect hit rate.

Bite their heads off! Bite! Bite! If that doesn't work, take your shot arrows out of their body with wrestling and then put them back in again with stabbing! Remove, reinsert, remove, reinsert, ear lick.

Never had a bat massacre people with an axe before.
EDIT2: Oh god, the bat has got a title now.

He's pining for the fjords!

...sorry.

Actually, I find body parts tend to be lighter.  So you could, for example, pluck an eyeball out of someone, keep it around, and throw it at a wall to generate a blood trail, pick it back up, and stow it away, and keep using that forever.

Mmmm...  Sweet, sweet eye juices.

Personally, I like [DF] because after climbing the damned learning cliff, I'm too elitist to consider not liking it.
"And no Frankenstein-esque body part stitching?"

Eff bodyparts. Real survivalists live on rainwater that has stuck to their bodies!
