Cheating (Adventure Mode)
« on: March 11, 2012, 03:11:53 am »

Are there utilities that allow me to directly edit what items I have in my inventory? I'd prefer not to edit raws. :)
Now I know what you're all gonna say... "Stop looking for the easy way to play." However, Im not looking for a way to make things easier, I more so want to toy around on test adventurers.

Any help would be nice.  ;D

I'm not aware of a utility that does that, but you can use custom reactions to make items easily enough.

Here is something similar to what I use;
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

This allows you to make any item listed above out of just about anything you can pick up. Chop someones finger off? Make a battle axe out of it. Knocked someones teeth out? Make a suit of armor out of them. See that rock? Turn it into a nice pair of pants. Or just change one weapon/piece of armor into another.
If you want to use that yourself make a new text file in raw\objects named reaction_adventurer.txt then copy and paste the spoilered text within.
Then, as an adventurer, press x to get a list of the items you can create.

Edit: Added boot reaction.

Cheating is by definition impossible in single player games.
