Dwarf Mother gives Birth while asleep
« on: March 04, 2012, 02:57:19 am »

So I receive some bad news, how one of my best fighters (a female) has given birth to a new baby.  I zoom to the location while feeling bummed because I'll need to take her out of the main attack group which has been killing all the flying undead.

Anyways I notice she's asleep... how does a mother give birth while asleep?  LOL
The other humorous event was the baby just starts crawling away!  LOL

I'm thinking either the baby hates the mother
OR
the baby needs to get himself a good drink of ale
OR
the baby is ready to start helping around the fort

Hopefully the baby doesn't end up dead crawling around on its own.

The mother will probably pick the baby up when she wakes up. Otherwise the baby will probably go fall off some stairs or something.

how does a mother give birth while asleep?
For what it's worth, I knew a woman in real life who gave birth to her baby while she was asleep.  Apparently her family has a history of very easy births.

So, odd and unlikely, but not impossible.
