My Dwarves Won't Store Their Equipment in the Armory

I have a shitload of armor stands and weapon racks up but they just won't store them there. I even removed all weapon and armor stockpiles.

Use cabinets and coffers, racks are bugged in that a Dwarf will occasionally store weapons/armour on them, before quickly taking them to a stockpile and increasing the loop. Cabinets and coffers do not do this.

Will bags work? I put a bunch of bags on my armory and nothing is being stored there that I noticed. Reason being I have tons of cloth and very limited wood.

You can make chests out of stone. They are called 'coffers'
