Get him bitten by a werebeast. When he turns, his arms will magically grow back, iirc. Alternately, use an unlife fountain to turn him into an emergency vampire, then lock him in a room as a last-resort fort survival tool.

Lol, Boatmurdered reference. :) No, Kratos did it a lot bloodier than that... And in a kind of NSFW way, too. Still, nothing compared to what DF is capable of.

I think it'll be a swimming pool.  Potentially my entire aquatic army.  I'll get him legendary, and then flood a room with 7/7 water and goblins, and let him bite them.

An armless, short creature who's great at swimming and a deadly bite...  Urist McShark.

Your magma- is it in sea, or pipe form?  If it is a pipe... you, sir, have just found yourself an intrepid explorer.  Simply arrange a launch mechanism, and send him down to probe the firey deeps.

Set him as the designated dwarf who performs all the broken jobs. Like animal caretaking!

Now you can roleplay that the animals aren't being neglected because of the job not working; you can say it's all Stumpy McUseless fault and scorn him forever!
