It's a squirrel, not a bug. A squirrel that escaped hell, stumbled upon a human group, and scared them into submission. In your fortress.

It's more likely than you think.

This is a human diplomat that was sent to my fortress one time to have some trade negotiations. He ended up destroying my fortress by wading through a bath I had set up to clean dwarves. First they got a Fever, and then after a small bit of time Heavy Bleeding, then death.

And so, sence was made. To be fair, I wish you could do half the deaths from that little show in this game. Probably next major version when you can swing humanoids around vi there eye stalks.

Well, I got me a white fiend "human" diplomat back in .31.25...
An enormous salamander twisted into human form, composed of rock salt.
I think his name was "Ana Sneakfly, Law giver" or some such.

Gave me a bit of a pause when I first saw it.
Apparently, it would have behaved like an ordinary diplomat, had it not got stuck in my cistern and gone berserk... After that, it was ‼Fun‼ for everybody.

Certainly you could argue that DF is a lot like The Sims, only... you know... with more vomit and decapitation.
If you launch a wooden mine cart towards the ocean at a sufficient speed, you can have your entire dwarf sail away in an ark.
