I think of dwarves' colors as dyed beards and a color drape on their shirt.

Given that this dwarf has a light blue beard and a dark blue drape, he's legendary. If both were the same color, he'd not be legendary.

You know?  This is actually a pretty sweet take on on the Dwarven Culture.  Dyed beards to signify their positions is a really cool idea.

Dark blue?  That looks pretty violet to me.
But violet is used for nobles, I doubt this fisherdwarf is a noble...
