Obsessive dwarves

Might be a bug, but at least 50% or more artwork in my previous fort(done by different dwarves) were about a single event, when some human was killed 20 years ago by some titan. My dwarves created like 20 artifacts, slayed 2 fbs and a giant, killed hundreds of gobbos and all they are obsessed with is some human getting mauled by a roc?

Not a bug, a feature, quite an annoying one if all engravings are of elves taming animals.
