I like hippos. They are common in the biomes where humans tend to live, easy to find, and hell a dangerous.

Kobolds. Very common, easy to kill, and can kill enemies quickly in groups.

The evaporation is not instant.

It happens when the sun rises, and there's this one way to keep them from evaporating, but I forget what.

three undead dragons and i was set. when i got ambushed by bandits who outnumbered me, i just sat back and watche dthe canage... and don't even get me started on what they did to those damn dingos.
