Sorry for bumping this thread, but I wanted to remind everyone of the existence of this series since there is likely to be a lot of new people getting into DF with the new updates.

Oh yeah, I'm about to start a more traditional "Let's Play" series for dwarf fortress as well. :)

Could you do one on macros? I can never seem to get them to work right.

I was having a look at your efficient workshop video, Perhaps your should mention that the Tanner and the Leatherworker Workshops are PERFECT to set Side by side, their floor plans are mirror opposites of eachother and can fit well near the Butchery or such...

Ok, sure, I'll look into that.   Now with multi-level designations, it might even be more powerful now.

That's a great idea. I never use Tanners, so that wasn't something that occurred to me.
