food bug?
« on: February 19, 2012, 03:49:28 pm »

My character refuses to eat/drink with the message 'you are too full' inspite of being still hungry and thirsty.
Character was dehydrated (and hungry) and after drinking one water still dehydrated (and hungry) but refuses to drink any more because he is too full.
I'm confused.

You can only eat / drink 3 items in one sitting, wait a bit and try again.

You can only eat / drink 3 items in one sitting, wait a bit and try again.

Strenuous activities (LIKE FIGHTING A TITAN) tend to give you room to eat. Otherwise sleep, wait or fast travel.

Seems indeed buggy to me, the way it behaves now is that both eating and drinking contribute to being "full" - if you are thirsty and eat too much, you become full and can't drink - that is a nonsense, IMO. Firstly, most foods contain water too, so they would quench the worst thirst, and secondly, you can't stuff yourself so bad that you could not drink even a glass of water.

Food and drinks should be handled separately.

The entire content consists of senseless murder, a pile of faceless naked women and zero regard for human life in general, all in the service of the protagonist's base impulses. It is clearly a cry for help from a neglected, self absorbed and disempowered juvenile badly in need of affectionate guidance. What a sad, sad display.

I don't mind the the relationship of the two, but it does bother me that food contributes so little to hydration. I've been wondering about that, myself.
