eighteen thousand kills
« on: February 15, 2012, 06:07:40 pm »

I decided to look into the legends of this new pocket world I had genned with about 530 years of stuff
I decided to look at the first dwarven king.
As it turns out, he was a vampire.
with EIGHTEEN THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED AND EIGHTY-EIGHT kills
that is 18588 kills

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

perhaps the weirdest part is the fact that he remained king the entire time
dorfiest king ever? pretty much

It's worth noting that despite being responsible for most of the entire world's deaths. he led the dwarves into an age of prosperity; they are the most powerful civ in existence

You may also have noticed that there are 4700 'saiyans' listed on the kill count
those are from Putnam's mod except I made them MORE broken (one of them did eventually kill this monster by shooting him, most likely in the head)
I just wish I could have found him in adventure mode. just think of all the jewlery he'd be wearing (I might redo this world just to meet him and kill him myself)

edit: I fixed an image problem

Over half his kills were fellow dwarves, looks like he wasnt a very nice king to his subjects.  :P

Eight thousand kills in a single fortress or whatever Violentfountain is?

At least the name is fitting.

Once they become king or similar, I don't think they're outed for being a vampire. I think they basically become an oppressive overlord, and let their subjects know they'll be dinner for the king if they don't behave... then choose a few for dinner every day too. :P

I think it's the way towns develop now. In the beginning, people move into a town. Then they start producing tables, which results in more and more tables. Soon tables represent a significant portion of the population, they start lobbying for new laws and regulations, putting people to greater and greater disadvantage...

it's worth noting that he only killed about 37 per year on average.

I suspect however, that he tended to kill lots of people at one time before going back to being awesome.

It also occurs to me that high level positions are exempt from punishment, no?

That's quite a bit more than even Tholtig... by... a lot... 16k or so more? If only those kills were only elves... I've got it. If the elves had adopted him into their civ, kind of along the lines of Cacame, but reversed - he had become king and kille 18k elves...

epicness.

Chuck Norris is vampire dwarf form?

I reccomend letting him go nuts, though.  If he goes berserk, free target practice for your military!  If he doesn't, raving naked bedridden dwarf!

See if any of those fortresses were completely wiped out by him.

Wow he's killed more dwarves then I have  :o and I do a lot of testing on dwarves...

You should start a fort in that kingdom and get him to migrate to your hall. Start a loyalty cascade with 100 dwarves and document his carnage :D

Well, he was part of the invading force in a number of wars.
Several places were pillaged/destroyed by the army he was a part of.
