It's been a while since I edited raws. What changes do I need to make in entity_default to add trade-agreement-forming behavior to other races, in 34.02? Will I have to add a noble position to the race in question to facilitate that behavior? And will I have to edit any raws other than entity? (i doubt it)

I believe you need the civilisations to have a diplomat and a broker position. I think the diplomat deals with things like tree cutting caps, and the broker makes the trade agreements with other civilisations in the same way as the outpost liason does for yours.

Edit:

The following go on the diplomat position (minimum):
[RESPONSIBILITY:MAKE_INTRODUCTIONS]
[RESPONSIBILITY:MAKE_PEACE_AGREEMENTS]
[RESPONSIBILITY:MAKE_TOPIC_AGREEMENTS]

The following go on the position responsible for making the trade agreements:
[RESPONSIBILITY:TRADE]

These were current as of DF2010. I am not aware that they have changed since.

Given current events, I've altered my profile pic and I'm sorry it took so long to fix. If you find the old one on any of my accounts elsewhere on the internet, let me know by message (along with the specific site) and I'll fix. Can't link the revised avatar for some reason.
