"Trees" As an option for 'Find desired location"

It would be nice if trees was added as an option on the embark screen, along with aquifer, river, etc. The settings could be N/A, Sparse, Woodland, Heavily Forested, etc.

I thought drainage was related to sand? More drainage = more sand. Less drainage = clay.

Drainage is not really related to sand, I believe  (it really should be, but I believe the state of the game as it is does not factor these things in).  I can find clay and sand stacked on top of each other.  Drainage seems mostly related to aquifers, but it is also used in creating biomes.

Meanwhile, "find trees" already is in the search finder - it's listed under "rain".  Dry areas have no or nearly no trees, humid areas have plenty of trees, unless they are mountains.

Drainage, rain, temperature, and elevation are the factors that decide what biomes exist, and by restricting your search to those areas that will generate the biome you desire, you can ensure plenty of hits from whatever biome is your preferred biome.
