Marketplace Hawker Spam

I find it difficult to go near marketplaces because all the vendors start spamming lines like:

"Try ostrich sweetbread!"
"Iron battle axe right here!"

"Try prepared opah intestines right here!"
"Manta ray leather trousers right here!"
"Your very own real stingray leather leggings here!"
"Try stingray leather trousers right here!"
"Prepared crab brain right here!"
"Your very own prepared cougar kidney!"
"Manta ray leather short skirt all the way from fair Fanciedstill!"
"Try chopped great barracuda liver!"
"Prepared swordfish brain!"
"Swordfish sweetbread here!  Best price in town!"
"Zinc chest from Fanciedstill here!"
"Authentic stingray leather loincloth right here!"
"Zinc chest here!"
"Your very own cougar tripe!"
"Prepared cougar lung here!  Limited supply!"
"Prepared bluefin tuna brain here!"

The more merchants that you see, the more message spam per step you get. Lag is also rather high. Anyone else have similar opinions/experiences?

An easy way is to never adventure into the open markets, it's only food, and there are food stores that won't lag you that much.

I believe you can avoid merchant hawking if you sneak, since they can't see you.

Don't think that helps your FPS any though.

That brings up a hilarious mental image. The merchants simply wait silently until some poor traveller steps by and then they all start shouting in chorus.
