At last

After years of silence, I cannot contain myself.

What I missed so much from 40d was when you'd hit something with a hammer and it would blow apart after slamming into an obstacle. After randomly wrestling an Ibex, my adventurer threw it something like 30 yards where it exploded on a mountainside.

Love... rediscovered.

I miss the days when you could be so strong that you could throw someone your own size 10 squares away. I once threw a kobold across a river into a tree. It was glorious.

The game needs stronger oddities and demi-gods, not homogenization.

Wait, OP, I think I'm confused. Are you just saying that you miss the awesome physics of 40d, or that as of .34.02 those physics have been brought back?

That's the point, it wouldn't be as fun to crush their souls if they didn't have souls to begin with.

I missed that possibility as well. Although, if I remember correctly, an Ibex is only a goat...that's really not all that big.

I just wish we could target where we want to throw our wrestled opponent. Maybe with some degree of variance, but this entirely random direction thing is a bit too irritating.

that way you won't need an ammo reserve when facing 2+ enemies

Throwing a child off a cliff was rather funny.  I sure do enjoy the many new features, but I think I like the fact that werewolf children pick fights with you the best.
