Step 1: Embark in evil biome
Step 2: (Accidentally?) let one of your dwarves get caught in an abominable fog
Step 3: Cage the resulting dwarf husk
Step 4: Release into a shooting gallery surrounded above by your marksdwarves-in-training with wooden bolts
Step 5: Profit for hours/years :

I think regular zombies might be just as useful for this.

They're nearly as bad as badgers. Build a couple of anti-buzzard SAM sites marksdwarf towers and your fortress will look like Baghdad in 2003 from all the aerial bolt spam. You waste a lot of ammo and everything is covered in unslightly exploded buzzard bits and broken bolts.

Ah, I feel silly then. Until this release, I hadn't ever tried something of the sort. Now I've spent all of my time chasing around husks.
