Alt key problem (Mac)

Hi, I'm playing adv mode and every time a creature loses consciousness you need to press alt+y to wrestle it (it also happens when you try to attack friendly NPCs). But the problem is that Mac's Alt, when pressed, changes "y" to "¥", so that hot key doesn't work. Is there a way around that or is it possible to rebind keys?

Key binding menu. Hit escape. I dunno what the bind is called, but you should be able to find it.
