Longest war you ever saw

So i saw something incredibly ridiculous in the legends just now. It was specifically a war between keepers and beast-men (Genesis mod btw) Anyways it started in year 55 and as of worldgen end it is still going on in year 104. So they fought for 49 years. The kicker? It started over the fact they couldn't communicate and form treaty's

I once saw a war of genocide pretty much between the beastmen and snakemen, I believe. It had lasted most of the 1050 year worldgen period, amounting over ten thousand losses from both sides.

Ever heard of the Hundred Years' War? England and France had themselves a war that lasted from from (give or take) 1340 to 1450. Even after that, England and France kept fighting off and on for another 500 years, really only stopping for good once the 20th century rolled around. And the English and French were of the same species and capable of speaking each others' languages. 49 years ain't nuthin' when it comes to getting your war and hate on.
