I'm no modder at all. The only thing I want to add to the game is Ironhand's graphics set. I figured I'd try to throw in the "update" package, which I thought was just copy/merge everything into the new DF version's folder.
Well, the graphics works, but for some reason I get HUMAN fortresses instead of dorfortresses! I don't want some lame humans, I want dorfs!
"A medium-sized creature prone to great ambition".. meh. Gimmeh booze drinking idlers.

Was it my drop-in of Ironhand's stuff that did this, or is it something funky with the new version?

The copy/merge is probably entirely responsible

Did you merge Ironhand's specifically with the new version just now and it worked?
