Concerning soundsense
« on: February 11, 2012, 12:26:09 pm »

Excuse me kind community: soundsense, it works, but the adventure mode is quite lacking sounds:
Mainly battle sounds, I will state the only 2 things that do work:
-Music
-Death sound

What doesn't work:
Battle sounds (weapon striking, grunts?) etc

What may be the reason?
Please help?

May magma lead Your path into safety.

There is no problem that you can fix... that's just how it works.  Soundsense isnt integrated into the game, it's just reading the game log.  Anything the game doesn't log doesn't get a sound, and that includes most stuff in adventure mode.

No, battle sounds go into the game log.

Right below the volume bar, it should say "Play: Messages and environmental sounds (3)". Change that to Everything (4).

Instead of calling myself stupid - for not tackling the issue correctly - (The solution was so obvious, I just didn't see those options there)

Instead of that I will call You Putnam a genius, that way my self-esteem won't suffer and You kind Sir will be complemented properly!

In all seriousness, thanks for solving my problem.
I'm grateful

You're not the first. The soundsense topic had another person do that just last week.
