Replacement pens cost about $30 according to Wacom's site, and I think I've seen them at electronics stores before. You can't really replace a tablet pen with anything but another tablet pen.

If you mean another medium to do your game in, you can do it in pencil and scan it. You'd just need to refine it with a program afterwards. I would rather use a tablet, but that's just me.

That's pretty great, beacuse I'm going to the electronics store today. I'm going to start a new thread here in a minute, I have a pen drawing done (ink pen, not tablet) that's going to suffice for a character sheet.
EDIT: Actually we're going to use the old one because I remembered the reason we're going to the electronics store. My fathers laptop has a broken screen and it's the only one with the printer drivers installed. My desktop has a wall between it and the printer. Literally.
