I see alot of pixels games booming up recently, reminds me of my times before back on Facepunch in 08, where i made alot of theese MS-paint games. Got particularly fond of pixel games.
So, this is a game of Pixel Life, a game of life and death, and whatever you will find inbetween, in the world of Pixel, a lone little green planet with its dwarf star to light its eternal day.
Will you make something? Or will you break everything? Your sentience is still nascent, and the planet unknown, there is alot to discover, and a few questions to get you off: Who started this? Who made this? Who made us, and why? Why are we here?
Game "Rules":
The gameplay:
The picture is passed on, for each time you describe what's happening, wich moves you do and such like that. When you are updating, you make two pictures, the actual map, and the overview, the actual map is the actual space, while the overview is a zoomed in map highlighting whatever is most relevant, mostly this will just be the same as the map but magnified 800%. When updating, the overview is discarded, the map is what you update, you make a new overview and upload both and post em. Remember to declare.
The humble pixel man:
A pixel guy is 3 pixels high, 1 pixels wide, yes just a little pillar. The top pixel depicts his race, two pixels of same race are most likely friendly. The middle and the Bottom pixel is ones identity, a series of colours, like if Elfeater was playing this game, and he chose to use the colours red and blue, no one else but Elfeater could control the guy with the red and blue clothes. A pixel has three basic moves: Moving, grabbing and combining. You can move at max 10 pixels per turn, the turn ends if you are at an obstacle, passing it costs another turn. You got two hands not depicted, imagine them placed just at his chest, so anything grabbed would be positioned at either side of the middle pixel, the heaviest thing a hand can carry is 6 pixels, with a total encumberance of 12 pixels. A pixel can only move an object dexterously if the object is less than 4 pixels and he/she is not encumbered beyond 6 pixels. Combining need you to have atleast something sticky or wrapable, like sap or bonding materials such as flax or animal tendon or something alike, if it is two solids, at least. Fluids, powders and semi-fluids, plant materials etc, can be combined to make new substances, this rule system is nebolous and you can stretch it a bit at times.
Hunger:
You have to eat a meal at least once per page, else you will get weak to starvation. This is pretty hard to enforce, but please dont be some immortal never-hungering demigod.
Materials:
Lightest colours are gems and energy, if transperent its a gas, anything transperent is either gas or crystals actually.
Most of the normal opaque green things are plant material, plants nuancing from light green to white are very nutritious while darker coloured plants are usually hardcore veggie and not very good for the stomach and poisonous at worst, the darker plant colours are usually reserved for tree and larger plant leafing. Light brown is wood and darker brown is inert and dirt. There are also alot of different minerals but they are all coloured in dark colours. The general scheme of properties is: Red is for explosive expansion and other heat related reactions, Blue is dilluting, extinguishing. Green stands for poison or nutrition, Yellow is for bases and "breathing" reactions, you know, oxidising, usually carries alot of chemical energy. Pink and other blue/red combinations stand for acids, animation and mutation.
Exploring:
You can stretch the map when you move outside of the map, you decide whats next in the terrain.
Overview:
DrPoo appears! He wears brown pants and a green shirt! He is a normal white male!
The map: (Remember that the Overview is magnified 800%
