So I want to make a vampire. I know how to use the code to make creatures, but I don't know how to add a tag for vampirism. I haven't found anything yet on it. Help?

Hi ladies and beards, I'm not interested in creating some long drawn out gun industry, but here's what I would like to add to my game: I would like to make a barrel out of an iron/steel bar at a metalsmiths forge using metalcrafting, a set of shot made from an iron/steel/lead? bar, saltpeter, brimstone, and charcoal also at a metalsmith forge using metalcrafting, and a stock out of wood at a craftwarfs shop using woodcrafting. I would like a skill of rifledwarf, and not add any additional buildings for this task.

Optionally I would like to play with the idea of using booze and charcoal to create shot, and would like to try the idea of making a munitions pouch for shot instead of a quiver. Both of these are absolutely optional, more important is to add an entity reaction so I can trade for shot or the materials needed.

Advice?

*EDIT* btw I know how to make the raws, the one thing I don't know (besides the optional bits there) is how to make them able to be made at the proper workshops

Masterwork DF / Crashing During Gameplay

Man I know this is one that has been asked and fixed over and over and over, I'm actually hoping someone can link me to a solution thread and this one can be deleted. I don't know how to get an error log, however I do know that it happens between 20 and 30 minutes of gameplay. I am almost certain it is the RAM issue, however, I don't know how to fix it. I only have 4 GB of RAM. Thanks, and I apologize for the rehashed nonsense...

So it's been fought over, prayed over with elf's blood, you get the picture, Dwarves don't keep slaves as a standard. Fair enough. So my situation is that I like legacy games, long-term games requiring you to grow your population the hard way, and places a lot of emphasis and value on dwarven skill and prowess. This would be enhanced further by a lower class creature, like a plump helmet man or "half-elf" (dregs of society, because I mean seriously, who would have sex with an elf?) who could do menial things like hauling, basic masonry (like block building), things like that. Any advice on making this happen?

I don't know if this is just new to me or if it's an update from old, but I just paid attention to clothing and found that in a previous fortress, the civilization of a tropical savanna made togas, skirts, and shirts but no trousers or coats. Then, in a new fort from a different civilization, which was one from a frozen biome, permitted only dresses, robes, coats, and cloaks for top cover. I'm not complaining, I think this is awesome, and possibly opens up ways to further differentiate civilizations

I searched as best as I could, but couldn't find anything about this: is there a way to make certain hostile creatures capable of destroying a constructed wall over the course of say a day or two.

Hey, given my keywords here this is nearly impossible to search, but I love the Nordic Tileset and installed it, but the purple behind the text and the "TECH HEAD" in literally all the spaces is really annoying, any tips on getting rid of those two elements? Thank you guys

Masterwork DF / Dragonscales Help

I have rumaged through the raw objects folder and can't seem to figure out the full ID of Dragonscales for changeitem and createitem in DFHack. Can anyone help me with this? I need to know what to type in, but I'd also like info on how the naming system works. Thanks!

Masterwork DF / GUI Settings bypass?

Hey, I am new to the server but I've been playing Masterwork for a while, and I was wondering if there was any way to change settings like adventure mode races and Fortress races without using the GUI. The reason being I can't use the GUI because of some framework error, and I've given up on fixing it. If anyone has any help to offer it would be greatly appreciated
