Discovered just how badly I'm being ripped off by Burger King. The difference between Value and Medium is measurable in millimeters, not even enough for a single goddamn fry. And that was after they spilled and threw out a few of my fries when moving my order from a tray to a bag after specifically telling them when I placed the order it was to go(the cashiers are supposed to ask).

Phobophobia, because there is nothing to fear but fear itself.

And the number 17, because heptadecaphobia is thing apparently.

First time I played this game, Marcy kicked my ass. Several times. This time though, she got hit in the face with several fireballs(her weakness). She tried to heal, but that was undone and then some by a magic wand being teleported into her intestines. She ganked Guile right after, but another couple of hits finished her right after.

Completed an imaginary scenario, "Imperial attack on rebel Clone holdout". After many attempts across several days.

That's me, wearing full Stormtrooper armor, wielding an E-11 blaster, and a pack of thermal detonators. Plus a vanilla basic knife, which I always have on me. Magic was forbidden, obviously, I'm not a Jedi(that run* was in fact just as hard). Outpost map was set to Clone Troops to spawn.

This one is especially hard because the E-11 is basically the worst blaster ever. Poor accuracy, poor damage, and poor fire rate. The Clones' pistol is a better weapon.

Nearly lost at the midpoint room, which happened to be the Farm/Smithy area. Immediately on my left was a Shield Trooper(carries a big riot shield). Whiffed multiple attempts at stabbing his throat. Finally got him, but two of his buddies, Clone Troopers with rifles, were approaching me from behind. I tried to grab the shield, but couldn't reach it, so I ran at one of the troopers, grabbing his gun and shot him in the face with mine. I didn't have time(nor inclination) to try to get my hand on the trigger of the rifle, so I used it as a shield while firing my E-11... which worked far better than it had any right to(like, better than a lightsaber). The last guy was camping in the smithy, so I kicked him into the spot below the mill-hammer, and dropped a thermal detonator. Almost died because the door jammed when I tried to leave.

Got to the finale, which was the one with one exit. That battle was me staying up at the top of the wall, dropping grenades below and ambushing anyone who made it up the stairs. At the end of it, I grabbed a fallen riot shield, charged down and finished all the remaining Clone Troopers.

Use the wood for weapons/weapon handles. Because that wood is cursed and whatever weapons you make from it will be similarly cursed.

Had calls yesterday and today from my internet provider looking to upgrade my internet. Lost interest when they told me it would increase my monthly bill by $60, and I'd possibly lose TV service. By the end of the call I realized I was also probably talking not to some guy with a nearly incomprehensible accent, but to an AI with an incomprehensible accent. They kept repeating certain phrases and parts of certain sentences, and it sounded like they didn't quite understand everything I was saying. Also, the numbers they were calling from were obviously spoofed, which may have been a flag.

Mildly annoyed. Running out of one my prescriptions. Requested the refill a few days ago, but the pharmacy never responded. Went there today to see if they had it, but when I got there realized the pharmacy is closed on weekends. I don't have enough left for tomorrow, let alone until Monday. It's not super-important, in fact I don't know if I still really need to take it, as my doctor prescribed me something else to treat the part of my intestine that this one didn't fix yet. He did tell me to take both, though.

The rollercoaster level.

EDIT: Rematched Lily to train up a change in my lineup because I learned the hard way that the leader of the Brotherhood of the Eternal Pyre doesn't use a Fire-type Pal. It's {Electric/Dragon}. Then again, Lyleen is a Grass-type in a frozen hellhole, so what is logic? Would have beat Lily if my Pals were actually attacking her as often as they should have. Or if her hitbox wasn't terrible causing about half the bullets I was shooting at her to visibly pass right through her body.

Also discovered after multiple deaths that Cold-Resistant Metal Armor(which has +2 cold resist/+1 heat resist) and Fire-Resistant Underwear provides just enough heat resistance to travel around the volcano region during the day, except I was still burning to death because I started flying on my Vanwyrm. Having a Fire-type Pal out increases your body heat a little. "A little" was enough to die of heatstroke before I could figure out why; instead I was flying away desperately on a fire lizard hoping to reach a cooler climate not realizing that was killing me.

Damn near ran out of booze, and it kept showing that it could not find any of the resources it needed. Took me far too long to realize why; the brewery was crammed with random ingredients for the different orders that it could not hold any more and it could not make any single thing. Apparently, buildings will try to load up resources for every queued order, regardless of priority, availability, or storage space.

Similar experience. Went to several different places in the past few days to find eyewear to watch the eclipse. Nobody had them. All sold out. A library the next town over was giving them out, but refused us because we don't reside in that town zone despite that library being in the same library group as the one closest to us. The closest thing we found was +$40 glasses at Home Depot which are labeled to block 99.9% of UV light, but that was +$40.

We did manage with a pair of some kind of welding goggles, by overlaying both lenses over one eye and covering the other and sharing it. And then it wasn't a total eclipse anyway and I have spots in my eyes now.

There was an earthquake today. My coworkers were all freaking out about it. I literally did not feel it; I even thought they were freaking out about nothing at first. But no, the earth did shook.

Went crazy in the enemy base, carving through enemies with my knife as they seemed to be more focused on whoever was attacking the objective rather than me. Got the "You got blood on my suit" achievement - 10 knife kills in one life.

What started as the simple theft of maple syrup turned into a massive assault on my lair by one of the super agents and his backup. My entire workforce was wiped out, more or less. I had to hide myself in the lab as that was the furthest room away from them. Even then, they almost got in. Only survived because they eventually got bogged down by wave after wave of freshly-bought workers. Despite that, most of the force(they were high level Investigators, plus some average-level soldiers from a normal raid unrelated to the syrup mission) escaped with a ton of evidence. There are bodies everywhere, and most of the base equipment is falling apart since there already was barely enough technicians to keep it running.

Some of the items added in this mod are police gear, such as tasers, zip-tie cuffs, and batons. Tried to do a "nonlethal" Outpost run by tasing and zip-tying enemies. Sadly, very few of my arrests survived... mostly due to physics. The game tends to jerk them hard when I put the cuffs on them, and it's surprisingly hard to get their hands around to put them in the cuffs, resulting a few deaths by blunt force trauma as they smack into the floor at high speed at short distance. And there was that guy whose head I accidentally ripped off trying to pull him away from a ledge with gravity magic. Oops. Gave up when I accidentally dropped my taser and it apparently phased out of existence.

Dealing with further incompetence, this time from my doctor's office. I set up the appointment over a month ago, they tell me it it's on Friday the 1st, they give me a paper saying the appointment is on the 1st. Because of the procedure being done required wearing some expensive(and surprisingly heavy and restrictive) electronic equipment for 12 hours afterwards, I take off work for the 1st.

I get there, and they tell me that the appointment is actually on Monday the 4th. They don't even do the procedure - just swallowing a camera pill; the equipment is the receiver for the images - on Fridays since nobody's there on Saturdays to turn in the equipment to. Worse, the procedure requires two days of fasting plus a bottle of laxatives in the middle of that. Which I had to do twice because of this.
