i am starting a fortress, only with a catch instead of dwarfs i have elfs: the first elfs at the year 4.

i don't know how  to get the current date and month if someone can tell me that'd be great!

 i am using playableciv+ if anyone is wondering.

1st  granite: we have  finally banded together  in this weird diffrent place,  i remeber when we first were created by our  god: rofa ( everyone worships rofa EVERYONE there is no armok just rofa the dwarfs even do it it is a bit odd.) as we finnaly finish  settling down we- why do we have so many HORSES!?! i counted and we have about 18 horses... there gonna eat everything... were gonna have to put a couple of them down... but they will be delicious... as we begin to build a craft's house i  got the idea of pushing a tree to get on the other side of the river so we could pick the herbs on the side. also it appears some one had got some elven herbs. oh dear.. it appears greatwyrmgoblin-cap just  shot a friendly river otter! how mean of him...

actualy you bashed its skull in: i dont know how to range.

inadverdantly i made you the range commander you patroled a little bit and shot a otter also you like wooden bows and steel.

17th granite: we are almost finished with the crafting room: soon we will be able to build  a tree house! we will finally be able to get in trees again without  having to be on the grass and being vulnerable to  the dwarven sword.

i cant wait until tree climbing is out i can build tree houses with my elf's!

2nd slate: we  just finished the-hic-still! and the crafts hou-hic is finished! it is quite the celebration indeed! also we are building our first tree hou-hic-  the elf collapses unconscious.

3rd slate: what a day... i think i was drunk like a dwarf! anyways the first tree house is almost finished and  it our straw berry crop is almost finished growing were gonna have a good crop indeed!

4th malachite: more has came to our beloved settlement treefortress! but... something is...odd.. one of them is wearing bone armor! i have fear...

not only bone armor but DWARF bone armor who ever she is, she must of had some kind of death wish to go against dwarfs! especially with their steel... greatwyrmsteel would love to get some steel in his hands...
