Other Games / XBLA Arcade. Anything good?

So for X-mas my pal got me twenty USD of Microsoft points, I don't play the xbox much, but I know how Indie Devs are always sayin they are gonna put their games on the XBLA. I Searched the market but I had no idea what was what.
    So now I am asking the Bay 12 Community what should I do with these points burning a hole in my pocket.

InB4 Bastion cause we already have that.

So, new Free2Play dota-like on steam called "Rise of Immortals"
Right now they are giving away goodies for installing.
Only real reason I care is because petrograph is behind it and they seem to be shifting to the F2P market from the RTS market

For me the most annoying abstraction made with games is HP, its just a weird system.
I am looking for more games that avoid the concept of damage being only against the whole.

Component damage is cool too.

To start I like the way Torabash has ripping limbs off.

Hey I have recently heard about paranoia RPG, but I am lost where to start, I have looked around.
Apparently the current edition has three different branches, not sure where to start with that.

Can I get some advise about running an tabletop game of this or other systems like It that may be interesting>

I think life advise should have a computer sub-forum.
Why?
A good number of threads are tech issues and if that is the way the forum is gonna work we may as well embrace it.

Life Advice / Taskbar lockups

Hey its Tech support time I am having a minor problem with my taskbar freezing up for a little bit when I alt-tab out of games,
for 15 maybe 20 seconds, If I touch it it locks up more and I get a windows explorer crash.
Right now it maybe just a minor inconvenience, but I hate things going wrong and not knowing what is causing them.

Does Bay 12 have any idea what could be going on?
Maybe I can learn something from fixing this.

This is only a problem when running full-screen  application, everything in windowed mode I am able to flip seemly between

Everything is terrible: If everything is terrible nothing is.
80s and 90s low budget videos that are the worst thing ever made remixed to showcase the campiest parts.

Depending on your sense of humor you will cringe or laugh, or sometimes both as I frequently do, but it all depends on how much you love things that are so bad they are funny.
I expect polarized results from this community  but tell me what ya guys think.

Hi, I want a world with all the nice things the 31. edition has, while only having to dig as far a 40d to get to them.
I tried messing with settings but I can only get legends worlds.
Any one wanna know is what I want is possible ?

Just wondering about the three difficulty levels of Hero, Peasant, and Demigod.
What do these things mean in context to your fantasy world as a whole, because right now you seem to lack a back story.

Anyway anyone have any guess about the social significances  of your starting options.

Life Advice / Transcription program

Hey yall,
I got a big project where I have to transcribe several hours of audio into text, and I was wondering if anyone knew of any free programs that could assist me.
I am not looking for miracles here, just something to speed up the task and that I could go back over and fix numerous errors inherent in the audio transcription program.
Do any free programs that do this exist?
