Map uploading question

I want to upload a fort of mine onto the DF map archive, so I can post it onto the forum for a public/contest game I'm planning. The site says that I need to export the map layers into .bmp images. How do I do this exactly?

(ingame) escape -> export local image -> select all the Z-levels you want ->  export images
