My dwarves won't take wood to the stockpile unless the stockpile is in the hallway, which, needless to say, is highly inconvenient.
Pathing is fine, and they all have hauling on. Stockpile are take from anywhere and not dedicated.

seems to me you just have too much chopped wood around.
try forbidding most of it and remove the hallway piles.
as soon as the backlog (hehehe) of haul wood jobs is cancelled, they will probably start hauling.
also could try having a designated wood-only hauler, it seems dwarves can give other jobs higher priority to hauling. (unsubstantiated)
