Questionable silk farm

Anybody frogposting in 2022 should be banned without a warning.  You're either /pol/ diaspora shitting up the blue boards or you think frogposting is funny.  Either way you should not be tolerated anywhere.
Such hatred and intolerance based on your own personal bigotry over humor. You really should be ashamed but I bet you feel righteous. This is why I say to let the idealogues have their hatred they revel in so much. They have built up an entire ethos to allow themselves to label and hate freely without societal recourse. Shame to waste all that work over morals.

If someone told me "hey, man, posting that frog makes you look like an asshole" I for one would simply choose to not post the frog that makes me look like an asshole

It always bewilders me how people get so righteous, especially over the magical frog. [..]

Everyone, even people not from the usa, knows what it is associated with and what it is a dog whistle for, lets not pretend otherwise.

Being from the USA does not make someone more knowledgeable about net culture than people from other countries.

OP;
Just let them sterotype people into a group they don't like based on assumptions they make so they can exclude them and move on. It's fine.

Refueling ships and transfering fuel or ordanance is very different.

I'm not even sure if MSP can be transferred between ships any more other than to landed parasite craft.

I like to plan a surface fort that will eventually double as an obsidian casting mold. Force all dwarves to live outdoors until they have perfected the entrance and hollowed out a good section of the fort proper. Moving year is busy.

If it gets defeated actually hauling the body to the incineration chute seems like a more insurmountable task.

Lost some exploration/ survey ships to precursors but one gravsurvey ship was far enough away to avoid detection and I left it to continue it's work. Not long after I get notified the hostiles' actives are back on but they are now on the opposite side of the system and the interrupts start. First time I've had any sensors in a system when other races were fighting. Got to glimpse a bit of half the battle; the precursors charged with seven ships of two types (960 thermal and 5300km/s is all the intel I have on them) and lost them all to what appears to be swarm as all wrecks disappeared shortly after. Marked that system on the galactic map for sure.

Some pics are dead but enough remain to show a couple ways to repeatedly drop minecarts in magma pools for mist.

I don't like my main entrance(s) to pass through soil. I like obsidian and planning out significant fortress features before ever digging into sub-surface rock.

The dwarves had to live and work predominantly out under the weather behind and on top of ugly silty clay walls sleeping (and being entombed) in increasingly cramped quarters constantly building stress and walls.

Ten years later the fruit of their (max 60 pop.) labor was a smoothed obsidian monolith with four entrances once again welcoming all migrants (pictured from a later date with equipment used to wage the arboreal war)

Each tower is intended to house a different death trap. The only 'completed' one makes magma mist. Bridges direct traffic from each of the four drawbridge entrances through the trap(s) or down towards the fort. Access to the courtyard is from deep within the fort.

A few levels below the four entrances converge where more bridges can re-direct invader flow back into the traps if needed.

From the center of the circle ramps lead a few more levels down to the welcome center. The bridges are over an 11-z drop but are more for re-locating corpse parts and death items out of the traders' sight and closer to their disposal zones then inflicting enemy damage.

A few more levels down the entrance passes through the main barracks which is sandwiched by the library and the tavern where foreigners are permitted.

The expense of the rough adamantine bridges is to mitigate the possible damage done by Fortress Defense Mod's hellfire imps' hellfire breath vaporizing bridges while the military is fighting on them.
Once the arboreal war has been won a ring of animal watch towers is planned.

I don't know where the nuthatch was trying to get to but there is at least one issue with caverns security. On level 45 the old abandoned/ partially-flooded spiral ramp is open to the caverns one z-level above the cavern floor. The spiral ramp goes down to the irrigation pump on level 29 just SW of the plots where there is an unlocked door that leads back up accessing the spiral ramp on level 41 and bypassing the remaining flooding to give unrestriced climber/ flyer fort access.

The human pikeman Xugot Unacoko isn't so much trapped as he is imprisoned for being a vampire and draining one of the few living dwarfs to death in that little double-flooded bolt-hole fort. Carelessness during the flooding emergency let him get out of his cell already but fortune kept him on the right side of the walls.

I find a cloth robe worn by a demon is big/ thick enough to reliably deflect an artifact adamantine axe weilded by a super-dwarf.
