'Nitrogen emission' is a BIG theme in the EU. It's about fixed nitrogen in fertilizers, but also nitrogenous emissions by building projects, industry etc etc.
Out late elections were won by pro-farmer anti-EU populists and anti-foreigner anti-EU populists.

The 130km/h is an inside joke. Our last government reduced the maximum speed on highways from 130 to 100, to reduce CO2 and nitrogen emissions.
Our new government cancels that and brings it back to 130.

We have a right wing Wilders government.

Their basic government agreement: Farmers are allowed to emit unlimited amounts of nitrogen at 130km/h.
To compensate, we will throw all black people out of our country with more than 130km/h so they can go and emit their stinky foreigner farts elsewhere.

I guess then if there's a time to strike, it's now

The innocent mind cannot even begin to comprehend the depravity of that which just sneakily floated out from the undercrofts of my biomachinery

Today I took a national English competition , and here's an IQ question in it:

What is the largest "ant" in the world?

The answer is "elephant" , not "giant" .
Heh, that's not an IQ question, it's a small children's joke

Iran attacked Israel. Let's hope we don't wake up tomorrow to a nuclear war in the Middle East.
Also, why is the Israel conflict thread locked? I read it a bit, but couldn't find anything lock-worthy

Yeah it looks like that is a similar report.
My Volkskrant's paywall can be easily circumvented by using Firefox + NoScript Add on (stops any and all Java scripts from running without explicit permission, can recommend). Apparently their paywall is a Java Script. Using NoScript unlocks everything except photo specials and some in depthh specials that are labelled 'subscribers only'.  I notified them even of their easily breachable paywall. Luckily, they're a lovely newspaper and are in favour of freedom of flow of information. Most of their articles are free if you know how to and they don't care. Or rather, they care enough to not change that.

EDIT: if you can afford to do so, pay their subscription. Support decent journalism. I would if I could afford.

Austria has been severely compromised. Investigation has shown that Russian agents have taken over their police and secret service over the past decade.

Vienna secret service headquarters has been used by the FSB for years as a forward base of operations.
The best course of action would be to annex Austria and make it part of Germany, in hopes of transforming it back from Russian useful idiots to European country.

Geesh those court photos. 2 of the suspects have their faces beaten pretty bad. One is missing an ear. One whas wheeled in in a wheelchair and didn't look conscious.
Meanwhile the Russian government says the accusations that IS did this are fabricated by the USA.

Let's hope they don't use this as an excuse to nuke Ukraine.

I just lost my respect for the fucking cancer police.

A female friend of me was touched in places she did not want to be touched by a random.
She went to the police to report it.
Police asked her... ' Did you drink alcohol'?
She said, yeah, I had a couple of beers but not that much.

'I am sorry but then we cannot help you'

Fucking cancer assholes. Basically what they said to her comes down to 'if a woman drank alcohol, you can do with her whatever you like'.

I hope they die of a horrible disease. Cancer, aids, it's all good as long as they suffer.

We supplied the girl with a tazer and pepper spray. Both highly illegal, but fuck that. If the police won't do their job it's up to us to protect ourselves.

no matter how horrible and satanic the Russian invasion of Ukraine is...
This terrorist attack on a music venue is barbaric and unforgivable.

I mean.. It could have been Kitty or one of our other Russian forumites that were killed there just because they went to a music venue.

Strikes against Russia, fine. But strike military and economical targets, not music venues.

EDIT: the same ofcourse goes the other way around. Fuck you Russians for attacking Ukrainian civilian places.

Other Games / Desynced. Who needs belts when you have bots
« on: March 20, 2024, 08:19:10 pm »
I stumbled upon this game on Steam and it is awesome. I just lost 3 days of my life to it since I bought it.
Imagine a game like factorio , but without the belt spaghetti.
Everything is transported by bots (and later, drones and shuttles).
The map is infinite. It is full 3D.
Everything is highly modular. You can install the same modules both in buildings as well as in your bots. There's small, medium, large and internal slots, and tons of research for many many modules to fill them with.
It also has programming. You can program extremely complex behaviours for your bots if you so wish. The game can also be played just fine without it.

It is still EA, but already has many hours of content, including story missions, and it scratches both the RTS- as well as the factory building itch in a pleasant way. Updates are very regular. It has multiplayer, coop as well as pvp.
It also runs very smooth. Loading your game is instant, no loading screens, not even a blink.
