I noticed that the trees are only ~8 feet tall. I understand that huge trees might have problems with occlusion, but they look like large shrubs. How are you supposed to get lost in the woods when a man on horse-back can see past the tree-tops? How are bears going to hide from the player in between mauling your woodsmen?

Also, it will always be too soon for Roanoke jokes.

That map must be color-swapped. The thirteen reddest states in the 2012 presidential election were Utah, Wyoming, Oklahoma, Idaho, West Virginia, Arkansas, Kentucky, Alabama, Nebraska, Kansas, Tennessee, North Dakota, and South Dakota. All of the above are dark blue on the map. Mind you, this implies that Vermont, where 66.57% voted for Obama, goes Republican.

Proof the states have better and more innovative solutions the the feds, http://www.politico.com/story/2013/02/bizarre-bills-fill-nations-state-houses-87933.html

I sincerely hope your kidding, all those are terrible examples of "innovation". Virginia legalizing co-habitation? How's that instruct the Feds, when co-habitation isn't a federal offense?

The most practical thing there is the one letting people eat road-kill. Maybe everyone in the nation can eat road-kill to help the economy.
Do i seriously need to hang up a damn sign when I joke?
You are discussing politics on the internet, so in this case, yes.

One of (in my opinion) best things to do if you hate the meta is the kill-lane. Put two guys with high synergy next to eachother in botlane. Stuff like Yorick/Zilean. Suicide bomber ghouls? Yes!

And here I thought that our frequent military ventures have demonstrated that national security interests took precedence over the economy.

BT, Inf, PD might be the default three carry items, but BotRK might be better than BT in her anti-tank role.

The only one to be harmed by a mechanical failure of a gun is the shooter wielding it, unlike cars. It endangers only the owner. Inspections are not necessary for the public good.
Various types of firearm malfunctions have been known to hurt or kill bystanders; especially slamfires, hangfires, and squib loads.

One problem with AS/Tank is there is only one AS item that grant health, armor, or magic resist, Wit's End. And the best AS item is Runaan's hurricane, which is paying for a Passive that Vayne won't use unless she buys AD or On-hit.

So long as it has the features who cares about graphics :P I would take civ 3 graphics for deeper gameplay any day
Civilization Three? You must be spoiled by these fancy new games.

All the material is available online.  If I were preparing to DM (or be a versatile player) I'd get sheets of paper and plot out key points to remember and how things work, instead of lugging the book around just bring in what I need for that scenario.  Like, not gonna be using the book on aquatic combat for the city, probably...
Almost all the material is available in the SRD. Aside from certain monsters that comprise WotC's 'Product identinty' (which you can easily do without), there is this bit:
Quote
"No Covered Product may contain rules or instructions of any kind that:

Describe a process for Creating a Character
Describe a process for Applying the Effects of Experience to a Character"

That explains why so many Chess champions are from Russia!

Also, the word 'Doom' in the title of the previous thread turned out to be oddly prophetic.

That was a beautiful play. CJ does wise up pretty quick and sends Kha'Zix bot and having Ezreal/Sona/Cho'Gath mid, but there wasn't much they could do.

Ah, I see that now. That's probably a better way of modelling it. I didn't notice initially because I was mainly looking at the mountains instead of just wide strips of land. Two nitpicks/suggestions:

First, you should modify it so that humidity travels westward in equatorial regions. The trades blow east to west.

Second, you might want to base it on just elevation instead of a combination of elevation and distance. The Amazon river continues to be humid 1000 miles west from the Atlantic, while small mountainous strips like Madagascar and Baja California have very noticeable rain shadows. Northern and Southern Baja California actually display rain shadows on opposite sides due to differences in prevailing winds.

Disclaimer: I am not a climatologist. I just remember my Earth Science and Geography classes and did additional research as necessary.

I thought up how you could do rain shadows fairly easily. If you distorted the humidity maps E/W according to latitude, and gave mountains a negative humidity rating, you would get dry areas leeward of mountains, and wetter areas leeward of oceans.
