Life Advice / Notes program for windows

Hey guys, I'm looking for a program that lets me write 'sticky notes' that I put on my screen~
If you've used stickies (pretty sure I remember that's what it's called) on a mac, you know what I mean, but I'd rather have something with a bit more functionality~

Gomoku 2d 1 starts here.

Pretty easy, just imagine the layers are stacked atop each other like a cube.
Also, it's 4 in a row, because it makes winning actually possible.

So, my friend Jonah and I have concocted a devious plan with which to screw with the former's brother.
Anyway, I can pull off the modeling part but have no idea how to paint the fucker and make it feel real.
Main issue being the shiny plastic texture.
What kind of paint should I use and where would I get them?

So yeah, pretty much as the title says.
In part because it feels like I've been discussing this stuff a lot lately.
They'd be pretty simple because I am a horrible, horrible teacher, but whatever.
I'd probably do some combination of text and audio, with the occasional drawing to show stroke order.

Life Advice / Buying a Bass Guitar

Budget of about 400 USD to cover strings and guitar.
Currently, I'm looking at the ESP LTD EX-104 and AX-104.
I was wondering if anybody had any opinions/recommendations/reviews/etcetera?

Hey guys, I'm sure most of you know about the other thread, found here.
Well this is the same, but instead of a test of might, this will be a test of mind.

Characters will battle each other using the best of their wits.
Unlike the other FIGHT TO THE DEATH!, these characters will have access to whatever troops/armament/whatever they would have normally, to a reasonable degree.
That is, a general will have some of his best soldiers, but not a full army.

The rules for submission, lifted almost entirely from the other thread:
  • The character may NOT originate from these forums, a Bay12 game, or the submitter.
  • For a submission to be accepted, it must contain a link to reasonably detailed information on that character.
  • If there are multiple versions of a character, one must be specified at the time of submission.
  • The judge reserves the right to veto any character due to reasons of personal bias.
  • Reasonable levels of mental power please.
These rules are subject to change at any time.

I play guitar, bass, mandolin, and have the ability to pick up and play most instruments in the lute family.
