Iranian state media appear to be confirming they are dead.

Had my first real bout of dealing with a tummy bug with my child.

My word, they can have a lot of things in their belly for such tiny creatures :| cheese puffs giving it a lovely vibrant orange colour to boot.

I could also do without the “hey, that human is vomiting and the vomit smells really bad. Have you also considered vomiting?” evolutionary brain nonsense, thanks.

We managed to get through the day without more (except for another lovely incident this morning, involving half digested milk) so hopefully that’s the end.

Could quite easily be insecurity about something and they’re looking for validation from other people on their timeline.

TIL I am old.

Long story short, jumped off a playground swing and when I landed my knees were all like “wtf are you doing m8”

Haha mine are fine.

Get off my lawn.

SimCompanies is another one. I have the app on my phone but it apparently has a website too.

About the only criterion it meets is debt. You can sell bonds to other players to get some quick capital, and pay interest on it until you buy them back.

Looks like John Swinney gets it unopposed. There was an 11th hour nomination - a long time SNP activist - but they decided to back Swinney after chatting with him. I think he gets the SNP leadership at noon on Monday, and there could be a vote to confirm him as the First Minister as early as Wednesday.

I’ll PTW. I have family visiting from tomorrow, so I probably won’t be able to play.

Why did you do this to me Egan.

Managed to binge this to the end, and now I have to wait.

Surely there’s a literary thread around somewhere?

I had my left ear pierced when I was a child, and then the butterfly part of the stud got stuck inside my earlobe, which was a touch of distress. Presumably because the butterfly was too small.

I remember sitting in class picking at what I thought was a scab on the back of my ear and then pulling out a piece of metal :o

I still have a teeny wee scar for my troubles.

There are only ever two reasons for anything, regardless of how complex *nods sagely*

These experiences have been deeply meaningful for me, not just on a political level, but also on a fundamentally spiritual one. To see Yale protests once again swept up in accusations of antisemitism denies this experience and invalidates the Jewishness of those calling for an end to the violence in Gaza.
