Roc shakes his head in an attempt to clear it. Blinks a few times. Closes them tightly for a few seconds. Reopens them.

“Nope, not a dream.” He sighs, noticing Aywen for the first time.

“I suppose we’re in this together. I’m Roc,” He offers his hand in greeting, “we should probably try to figure out what that thing can do before we attempt to tackle it.”

Action part 1: Find something to hide behind and get a good look at the robot, try to answer the following questions:

- can the crossbow sense things on its own or does it need the eye to lock onto something?

- does the crossbow swivel independently of the body, so the body is facing one way and the crossbow another? If so, does the crossbow have a full 360^o range of movement?

- does the torso look like it’s more armored than the other targetable areas?

- are the claws at the end of its legs weapons or just fancy feet?

If possible, also do the following:

Action part two: use the cellphone to get something to disrupt the robot.

Roc taps his cellphone a few times and lifts it to his ear. Ringing can be heard. The third ring is interrupted when the call is answered, followed by silence.

“This is Shyster. I need something to disrupt electronics.”

He pauses, staring at the robot’s feet.

“Preferably from distance. That will be all.”

He pokes the phone and returns it to his pocket.

Weapon: A Colt Single Action Army revolver designed to look like a statue of “The Thinker”. Don’t think about it too hard.

A revolver some psycho decided would look good inside a statue.  You get to pick which side the bullets come out of.  3d4 damage, 4 turns worth of shooting inside, 1 turn reload.  You have enough bullets for three complete reloads.  +1 at close/melee range, -1 at longer ranges.  Gives an extra +2 to philosophy rolls.

Gadget: A cellphone full of illicit contacts

It’s a phone.  With only a cellphone app.  It is filled with shady, one-word-name contacts named like “Knifers” and stuff.  Stupid phone.  At the beginning of every mission, you may use this to call your contacts and get something illegal delivered.  You don’t get to pick, although you can make suggestions, and it is almost always something you’d get arrested for carrying.
